COLLEGE APPLICATIONS- It is recommended that all college applications be submitted prior to Thanksgiving break.  Now is the best time to process applications—before the rush!  During the rush period, the turn around time in the Guidance office can be ten days, so plan ahead.  Do not wait for letters of recommendation or SAT scores to mail your applications.
Stop in if you have any questions.

SAT I, SAT II

The SAT I and SAT II are offered December 1 at several area high schools.  The registration deadline for the December test is Tuesday, October 30.   If you are applying to a very competitive college or university, they may require the SAT IIs. Check with your counselor today if you have any questions.

College Visits,  InterviewsReminderNovember 12 is an excellent day to schedule college visits, interviews, etc.

FINANCIAL PLANNING—CCHS will host its annual college financial planning night on Wednesday,
November 14, 7 PM in the Library.  It is strongly recommended that you and your parents attend this informative meeting.

NCAA Forms—If you intend to play sports in college (or even think you might like to), you should register with the NCAA.  This must be done on-line at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net.  Be careful to print out the release forms and submit them to the guidance office.  See your counselor if you have any questions.
