Meeting Minutes

Monday, November 1, 2007

 

 

 

I.            Unfinished Business

 

A.     Pizza Parties: We held pizza parties for the JV and Modified teams as a Thank you for their participation in their perspective sports.  This was a huge success and all included were much appreciated.

 

B.      Mr. Bott would like to extend a ”Special Thank You” to Mr. Purcell and Mr. Whalen      for their help and expertise with the fertilization of the football field. We are hoping that this will make our football field in a much better condition come the spring.

 

C.     Newsletter:  Mr. Bott asked if the committee was happy with the information regarding the Booster Club was what they were looking for.  Everyone was pleased and happy to see the information.

 

D.      Thank You:  Mr. Bott extended a “thank you” to all of the booster club members that were involved in the fall sports season and he looks forward to another great winter sports season.

 

 

II.         New Business

 

 

A.     Code of Conduct:  Mr. Bott asked if there is volunteer to speak at the winter code of conduct meeting.  Sharon Fletcher volunteered to speak about the booster club and asked for parents to join the booster club.

 

B.      Projects: Mrs. Fletcher asked if it was possible to have projects for members of the booster club to work on such as painting locker rooms, filed work ect.  So December 1, 2007 was set for the painting of the Boys locker room. 

 

C.     Meeting Dates:  Mr. Bott suggested that we have three scheduled meetings per year and meet in between if necessary.  Meetings would be one in August for planning, November for the winter and April for the spring.  Also we could me at the Code of Conduct Meetings if that deems necessary. 

 

D.     Signs:  Sharon Fletcher asked if we could get signs made that said “sponsored by the CCHS Booster Club” and Ginny Bariteau said she would take care of this issue.
